eBay vs. etsy...it's my 9 yr Anniversary with eBay...

I got an email from eBay today, wishing me a happy 9 year anniversary as a member of the eBay community. Wow...can't believe it's been that long! Over the years I've bought some great things and sold a few things, too. The last time I listed items for sale, I kinda felt like the magic just isn't there anymore. I dunno...I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the economy, but converse to that, I have been selling things here and there on etsy and feel like it's a nicer venue. I find etsy easier to maneuver, easier to find things and even just nicer to look at! Of course etsy does not offer the wild card that an eBay auction can offer, but I'd rather take sales of any kind over sales of no kind. Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't give up all hope and try to take advantage of holiday shoppers! I think we've got about 50 days left before Christmas!
