...and it made me think of this...among so many other music stars in the 1970s who had grasped ahold of the cosmic for inspiration. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rhianna...they ain't got nothing on the folks from the 70s! This fashion statement bridged all generes, from soul and funk, to disco, glam, jazz and hip hop. Below are just a few examples...oh, and note that it wasn't just the ladies in glitter and lame'!
